- History of club formation
- Skatepark DC started in 2022 when a group of friends decided to form a new club and venture more into the sport as they had different goals. They aimed to provide a space and stage new players and players without a club to learn and shine. In their world, players should not be restricted from the sport just because they are not good enough. They should be given a chance in clubs to learn and compete as hard work beats talent when talent does not work hard.
Besides that, Skatepark DC also aims to contribute to the casual side of dodgeball by hosting open sessions for casual players that wants to play the sport for fun every week. By doing this, we hope that our small acts can impact the community of the sport making it a better place.
In a nutshell, we focus on collaboration over competition while attitude and commitment over skills.
